The video culminates in a realistic recreation of the famous image of a kiss between a couple with their heads wrapped in white cloth, and, given that it's the only part of the video in color, this final scene coincides with the orchestral ending of 'Unique' as the last song of the 'Surrender EP', which provides an apotheosis ending. The deconstruction of the final image of the painting is made throughout the video, always in black and white, with a dense and slow cadence, which follows the rhythm of the song. One of the most frequent interpretations of the painting is the inability to fully unveil the true nature of our lovers, given the frequent existence of a barrier - represented by the cloth - that prevents true intimacy, transforming an act of passion into one of isolation and frustration. Although the video does not entirely reject this interpretation, it also embraces the words of Magritte himself: 'My painting is visible images which conceal nothing... they evoke mystery and indeed when one sees one of my pictures, one asks oneself this simple question 'What does that mean'? It does not mean anything, because mystery means nothing either, it is unknowable.' It is based on this flexible interpretation that the music video for 'Unique' seeks to merge the painting 'The Lovers' with the lyrics of the song, building its own narrative, where Love is described as a singular entity with the ability to find us even in the darkest moments, to illuminate the truth and ultimately to save us, conditioned, however, to an absolute surrender - not an unintended mention to the name of the 'Surrender EP'. This absolute surrendering is represented by the talent who is only found by Love when she has her head wrapped in a white cloth, and is stripped of her identity. During the exterior scenes that take place in daylight, in which the cloth always wraps around her head, it is possible to glimpse, several times, smiles through the cloth when she interacts with her lover, which contrast with the interior scenes in which, although her face is visible, the surrounding environment is the darkness (representing the inside of her head) and her expression is empty and melancholic. After a moment of doubt and confusion, it is with tranquility that the talent's face appears again at the end - now in color - surrendering to the cloth that is placed on her head by no other than her lover, symbolizing the tragic surrender to the fact that the image of our lovers we project in our minds may not be true, but also to the universal acceptance that Love is blind, confusing, urgent and beautiful.
