Plympton believes that this daydreaming was key in forging his fertile imagination. Al it took for Plympton to figure out what he wanted to do with his life all was watch a Disney film in which an animator drew a cartoon. The rest is a history, - a thirty year body of work that includes hand drawn feature films, commercials, music videos and short subjects. Nominated twice for an Academy Award, the fiercely independent Plympton can lose himself drawing for up to twelve hours a day.
