Arnout treks along the GR 129, sometimes called the Dwars door België, the longest GR trail in the country. The journey starts in Bruges, the mother of all Flemish cities, and ends in Wallonia's oldest city, Arlon near the border with Luxembourg. The signposted trail is over 500 kilometres long and runs mostly along unpaved roads. In 23 stages of just over 20 kilometres, Arnout reached his final destination. The trek was completed in one long trip and could already be followed in real-time on één.be and on social media.
