What starts out as a general how to guide in which she follows quickly flips, where the narrator instead talks about the specifics of her maneuvering through her life, which not only includes the time from nine-to-five, but also the time from five-to-nine, where she has to fight with the want to do her art against other priorities, such as pleasing her self-absorbed live-in boyfriend, Trevor.
