She has nightmares about the "death flights" that the military junta is using to get rid of "dissidents". She finally meets an entity in this dream state and she makes a promise to this entity that she will fight the monsters of her dreams when she becomes an adult. Now an adult, living back in the US, SKYE sees extreme right-wing folks wearing "Pinochet Did It Right" t-shirts (Pinochet of Chile having adopted the same extermination methods used by the Argentine junta at that time). She is horrified and so she delivers on that promise, only to come under the scrutiny of Homicide Detective Captain Roe G. Kyler and her team. See less
