Together with the cook Herbert they have a small fish tavern near the lake Attersee. For some time the relationship between the three has been tense. When Michael finds out that Julia is cheating on him with Herbert he kills her in the heat of the moment and hides her dead body. Only Herbert seems to miss Julia. He tries to reach her on her mobile, but never gets through, so he starts being suspicious. He confronts Michael with his suspicions. The following morning Herbert does not show up for work.
