The hour-long documentary features historical photos, film and video accompanied by a musical score by Mahler, Stravinsky, Copland, Adams, and Metallica -- among others. Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas leads an all-star cast of music luminaries who tell the story of the Symphony's rise from San Francisco's ashes.
