Maybe he can have a holiday and even find love? On his journey to the sea the accident-prone Mr Pugh meets a young fairground entertainer, Jane, who he enchants with his music - whilst annoying others. This is a gentle seaside comedy with minimal dialogue and melodious music, which catches the mood of an English seaside with its children and dogs, the old, the young and the eccentric.
