Romero's 1978 zombie masterpiece Dawn of the Dead and then kept breaking the rules throughout the 1980s with film like Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Day of the Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. As an actor, he has appeared in Romero's vampire drama Martin, as "Sex Machine" in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn and as a vicious slaver in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
