The eldest son, Mantang (Li Yapeng), returns from an overseas trip and brings back his daughter-in-law Susie (Zhu Yin), whose foreign ways are quite unacceptable to the old couple. The second son, Fu Gui (Geng Le), always grows up and loves karting. Since the old Yu family's noodle-making art is "passed on to men but not to women", the youngest daughter, Yu Lan, moves around the capital to steal the art from various restaurants in order to inherit her father's noodle-making art. Tan Gege (Zhou Xun) met the second son of the Yu family because of the car, and also became one of the temporary members of the Yu family. The two Yu family members have endless worries all day long.
