As the operation draws closer Jac begins to question the validity of her decision. The operation is successful, until baby Freya develops a bleed and Jac has to step up and save her life. A new senior registrar joins AAU. Baby Freya is in danger when an AAU patient who has been jailed for kidnapping learns of Freya's presence, whilst in jail the patient contracted a form of TB, causing Eddi to put AAU on lock down.
