Medea chooses silence, blocking her emotions and withdrawing into her own world. The Nurse reacts, tries to understand, while also judging her. Based on MEDEA by EURIPIDES, the film comprises a new scene, which takes place a little before the end of the tragedy. The Nurse' s soliloquy refers to all murders that Medea committed from the moment Jason entered her life. See less
