Still followed by the ghostly girl Natalie he goes to see the injured Neil, whose wounds he heals, Helen - now a ghost and about to pass over - and other Angelics, who plan to capture Natalie for more information on the Fades. Neil, accompanied by Sarah's ghost, visits Mark, explaining that Sarah's invisible presence is with her ex-husband at all times, getting Mark to ask Sarah questions through him as proof. However, after Neil has left Mac's policeman father arrests Mark on suspicion of killing Sarah, Helen and the school bullies. Paul meanwhile is involved in a road accident and ends up in a coma.
