Gaston takes Mr. Karel fishing to tell him he's on paternity leave. He gets too gloomy to pursue the Benidorm remodeling project, but Tuur promises he can sell it to their wives. The boys decide to get the in the mood by offering a paella dinner. It seems to go wrong, as Gaston is even told he's less helpful then bothersome, so he should ask his mother-in-law to return from Spain and move in. However even neighbor Germaine realizes the old boot's presence there makes Benidorm a good idea. The boys get the go-ahead, provided it costs nothing.
