Are you for or against assisted suicide? Should prostitution be legalized? Should we impose a minimum number of Quebec players on the Montreal Canadiens? These are the kinds of questions that unleash passions. But what if, instead of the usual communicators, ordinary citizens had the power to decide the question? That's the idea behind "Huis clos". In a secret bunker, seven citizens, a cross-section of Quebec society (in Canada), are "sequestered" for a few hours. Their mission: to settle the issue of the day, to speak out for or against, by defending their opinion. Their tools: reports, testimonies, as well as the opinions of experts on both sides. "Huis clos" also marks the great return of Claire Lamarche on our screens. In this crisis cell atmosphere, it is she who directs the exchanges with the skill that we know her for, and who moderates the conflicts that inevitably arise around the table. After an hour of tension, we will finally know which side the citizens will tip the scales, on behalf of all Quebecers. See less
