This is the story of her first day at her new school in Greece. When Maram arrived at school, the gates were locked and angry people were blocking her way shouting that she is a foreigner and not welcome. Another group of people, who believe that all children have a right to education, rushed to her defense and soon enough the two groups clashed. Little Maram was rescued by her classmates, who included her in their play, and the children's solidarity made things right. Written by
