When Margery tells Jason the truth he refuses to act on it but Emily takes delight in telling Max,later regretting it when she hears how Jason's father was mean to him.Following a bust-up with Travis Carmen flees to Leeds but he goes after her and they return to Sugartown in time for the wedding. On her way to the church Emily calls to see Max and almost suggests they go off together but he does the decent thing and,after watching the wedding,from a distance,drives off to Sheffield and another venture.
