'Bikes' is the story of Con, (Michael Gwynne), a married man who is having a love affair with a beautiful young woman named Jackie (Emily Morrison) and procrastinating about telling his wife. The lovers regularly cycle to their secret meeting place but on this occasion they lose the key to their bike lock during their passionate frolic on the rocks. Now their bikes are pinned together for all to see. Con realizes that if they don't free them his wife Ella (Jane E Seymour) who jogs along the coastal path every evening, will notice them and catch on about the affair.
