The arson-set fire consumed the hotel shortly after midnight and led to the deaths of 29 people. More than 200 firefighters responded to the Pioneer Hotel fire and firefighters worked feverishly to reach those trapped on the upper floors. A documentary tribute to that night recounts the events as they unfolded. This documentary will commemorated this historical event in the history of the City of Tucson and the Tucson Fire Department. This tragic fire had an international impact because 13 of the 29 victims who died in this fire were from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Written by Anonymous See less
