The investigators discover that it is Sonja Gräwe. She disappeared from Neukölln 15 years ago in her mid-20s - and was pregnant at the time. Sonja's violent boyfriend, Dennis Sauer, was blamed for her disappearance and convicted of murder after a circumstantial evidence trial. The police investigation team is reopening the case based on the new evidence. What exactly happened on the night of Sonja's disappearance? Did she give birth to her child before her death? And was Dennis really the perpetrator? Ex-convict Dennis turns out to be reformed: He has renounced violence, drugs, and alcohol and instead practices yoga. He continues to claim not to have committed the murder. Sonja's mother, Petra Gräwe, owner of a Neukölln nail salon, is behaving extremely conspicuously. She has a second daughter, Emily. She's 15 years old and the spitting image of Sonja. Jasmin and her team are also focusing on Sonja's then-best friend, Kristin Ortler. Kristin had heavily incriminated Dennis back then.
