Laurie and Whitney don't know it when they first meet, but they need each other. Here, at a crucial point in their lives, neither has a soul to care for them. Both girls are rejects and runaways, unknowingly desperate to find someone they can trust and connect to. They're not looking for a friendship, but that's what a quirky twist of fate delivers.
