Here our protagonists try to slow down the forever turning, scornful wheel of Fortune with a glass of wine or a beer, or a game of the cathartic Passatella; an ancient drinking game that gives the patrunu or "master of the wine" the opportunity to take revenge for a past wrong that has been suffered. 'The Last Osteria' is a documentary about a meeting place that resists the wear and tear of time and a ritual that has remained common place.
