The historic theatre play, originating from the island Spiekeroog in the North Sea, is adapted by author and director Jens-Erwin Siemssen. Filmmaker Melanie Pieper joins Jens-Erwin Siemssen and his theatre on this journey, on which the play 'Die verlorenen Söhne' comes full-circle and the door to a future theatre project may be opened.
