Each one is sure that the other one discovered the North Pole. The argument grows hotter every minute, but no conclusion is reached. On their way home they put the decision up to their friends. Whomever they meet is made an arbitrator in the discussion, but not one is able to throw any more light upon the subject than has already been done by others. Day and night the two friends figure out who discovered the North Pole. They have not as yet solved the problem.
