Matt is a rugged scientist working on outback weather stations for the international temperature-measuring agency. Their work is vital in the fight against global warming. Matt's girlfriend, Annik, works in the agency HQ on the other side of the world. They keep in touch with daily video calls. But everything changes when Matt stumbles across an international conspiracy to discredit global warming. He photographs the evidence and is about to upload it when he is caught by the conspirators.
