Psychic/Medium Chip Coffey and therapist Edy Nathan introduce her to Olivia, a 16-year-old girl who is petrified by the spirits that come to her at night. The girls meet in Maryland to face their fears, but while exploring the Landon House, site of Civil War deaths, they are overwhelmed by negative spirits. They leave that night and stay at another inn, where they work on managing their abilities and help a woman who longs to contact her dead children.
