But an encounter with Tim O'Neill, a patient who refuses to see anything bad, brings him around to the idea of treatment after Tim dies on the operating table. Meanwhile, Frieda and Penny clash on the ward when Frieda makes a good call which saves a patient but which leads Penny to finding out that Frieda is a trained doctor. Elsewhere, Faye and Joseph receive the news that their expected baby does not have Lowe's Disease but their tentative relationship is scuppered by the careless actions of Lady Byrne.
