Ridge begs Taylor to reconsider and join him for the endeavor of launching Forrester International. She is neither willing to close her practice nor to play Russian roulette with her marriage by having her husband spend months of lonely evenings in Europe with Brooke. Ridge breaks Taylor's heart when he explains that he cannot give up on the chance to regain control over the company. After he has already left for the airport, Taylor receives a most unexpected visitor: Brooke. Meanwhile, Macy informs Anthony that they cannot have a future because she is giving her marriage another chance. A heartbroken Anthony wishes Macy all the best and gives her a goodbye kiss. At the Forrester Mansion, Stephanie is confused when Thorne says that he just found the perfect opportunity to get over his break-up from Macy and open a new chapter in his life.
