Ali is a twenty-five-year-old young man who makes his living by fishing and sailing the newly married couples or tourists in the village with his boat on the lake. Ali and Zulal, who used to love each other, fell apart for an unknown reason. Although Ali dreams about Zulal, Zulal continues to live unaware of everything with all her innocence and beauty. The character of Fikret, on the other hand, lives in a completely utopian world, life for him; consists of poetry and cinema. In his own village, he yearns to shoot the short film for which he wrote the script. However, the power that shapes the destinies of these three main characters will not allow them to live in the same village. These three characters have effects on each other's lives, even if they are not aware of it. Just as we touch someone else's life without realizing it in our routine lives. Dream Lakes is a realistic but also an imaginary journey. The characters are not very talkative. But, is cinema just about lines? Dream Lakes, which has a scenario that combines the love of humanity and cinema. Could it be an illusion that seems distant to us? See less
