When a customer shows her kindness, she begs him to help her escape. Reluctantly agreeing, he drives her away from her sexual prison, playing the hero he's never been. During their drive to a nearby bus station, she reveals her past to him. Once there, they are confronted by the owners of the massage parlor, who offer to sell her to him. Will the price be right? Will he save her? This political film explores not only the gritty world of sex trafficking and its effects on its victims, but also Americans' apathy toward foreigners and their hesitancy to risk their own livelihoods for others.
