Joel's Grandfather, Major John Pott was a British Paratrooper who fought in The Battle of Arnhem, World War 2. His mission was to reach the bridge at Arnhem, which his brother Major John Frost was heroically holding against tremendous odds (he was played by Anthony Hopkins in the film 'A Bridge Too Far'). But Major John Pott was shot en-route. As he lay there wounded he wrote a letter home to his wife.
