Karen keeps her true feelings to herself and tries to be happy for her friend who seems genuinely over Ridge. After extensive business talk, Ridge discovers a book that makes him realize that Taylor is afraid of being infertile. Ridge encourages Taylor to have patience and assures her that she will become pregnant soon. Taylor expresses how much it would mean to her to have a child with Ridge. Sheila walks in on Connor preparing a romantic dinner at Brooke's condo while the latter is still out. Sheila accuses Connor of using Brooke for her money and power.
