While in a bookstore with a friend, Kevin bumps into the girl of his dreams, Devyn. Kevin and Devyn had been lab-mates in a biology class in high school and while Kevin seriously lusted after Devyn he was too shy to try to create a relationship with her outside of class. As Kevin and Devyn reminisce about their high school class, he's still too shy to ask Devyn out. Devyn, on the other hand, thinks he's not interested in her.
