This bicycle was the only inheritance he acquired from his father and it had transcended all aspects of an utility. His son has caught fever and Ratiram, suspecting it as a possession from a distant field- which is inhabited by some spirits. His voyage to procure a special life-saving medicine to treat his son from spirits, manifests into a deeper voyage of systemic patriarchy, power play and superstitions and would send Ratiram in a deep subconscious turmoil amid societal distinctions, superstitions and blind beliefs. 'Panisokori (in the swirls)' is a film about a poor family's navigation through hope and dilemma. The blind faith in God and superstitions and the way this faith impacts lives in reality has been portrayed through the beautiful canvas of a distant land. See less
