Suddenly they have to have a competitive swimmer who had just swam past them recovered dead from the lake. The dead man is Phillip Guldenstein. The eldest offspring of a wealthy business dynasty. For Nele, the investigation initially takes a pleasant course. The Guldenstein family runs a horse stud farm - and Nele immediately becomes friends with the old stable master Alma Bading. But the dead Philip's two siblings have also recently met at the family home. A swimming competition between him and his brother Justus was supposed to determine who would inherit the extremely rich inheritance. Jenny Guldenstein would have largely come away empty-handed after this legacy. She lives mostly in Canada anyway. Jakob's heart almost stops when he sees her. At 17, he was totally in love with Jenny... When Mechthild comes up with more information about Philip's mother's accidental death, Nele realizes that they have stirred up a hornet's nest. This can be taken quite literally. Because Philip died of an allergic shock after being stung by a wasp. Soon the siblings no longer make any effort to hide the fact that they have very different plans for the property. Philip had wanted to build on it, Justus needed money and Jenny seems to have felt disadvantaged for years. After a break-in at the stables in which the semen of the breeding stallion, worth several thousand euros, is stolen, things come to a head.
