It is still unclear whether it is benign or malignant. It must be removed in any case. But Tinka is an absolute high-risk patient because she is 13 years old. Amelie and Michael Sachse are visibly excited and fear that their darling could experience complications under the anesthesia. While surgeon Tobias Neuberger operates on Tinka, Yasmin Diepenbruck will monitor the anesthesia to be on the safe side. A dog with milk in her udders is a mystery Mixed breed dog Cara appears to be going crazy for puppies: her udders are producing milk even though she has no offspring. Sophie Wiedemann suspects that her Cara is pseudo-pregnant. That would not be unusual, because the young woman has just had a baby herself and this could have triggered hormonal processes in Cara. Veterinarian Julia Liebmann wants to be absolutely sure and performs an ultrasound scan on the Akita mix. Is Cara perhaps pregnant after all or are appearances deceptive? Arthritis therapy can be dangerous for a dachshund Horst, the wire-haired dachshund, is struggling with severe arthritis in his shoulder joint. Hobby hunter Maren Andersen takes him to Stephanie Petersen in the hope that she can provide relief for his limping leg. An anti-inflammatory injection directly near the joint is the treatment of choice, but it is also a delicate matter. Although dachshunds are naturally tough, the island vet has to be careful of Horst. On the treatment table, the otherwise good-natured hunting dog shows his fighting spirit - and his teeth.
