Nearby, a small train runs through one of Europe's most beautiful salt flats. Having learned that Croatia is also a stork nesting ground, he sets off to meet a stork enthusiast and his stork, Malena. From the east of the country, Philippe boards a mainline train for the capital, Zagreb. This is an opportunity to talk about the former Yugoslavia, which is still very much alive in people's minds. Once in Zagreb, the globetrotter travels around the city on a century-old tramway. Finally, he takes the train back to the Adriatic coast to discover its many sun-drenched islands. See less
