Please listen to this extraordinary story from creator, writer, and musician, Iam F.A.M.E, to hear his candid and UNSUGARCOATED experience with police profiling and brutality throughout his childhood and adult life. This is a story you must listen to as IamF.A.M.E's unjust experiences with the police have led him to be an advocate for racial equality and justice. The Survivors of Trauma social good short series at UNSUGARCOATED Media is committed to sharing a diversity of stories that work to help empower all survivors. This series consisting of various five-minute social good shorts, which first began in August 2021, will work to fulfill our mission of helping survivors of trauma through open and honest conversations. UNSUGARCOATED Media believes that we must set the standard for the high impact storytelling can make on our communities even without strong funding. Our social good short series conveys our commitment to showing this generation of creatives that we can make a positive real-world impact by practicing empathy in our production. We are leading this movement by tackling difficult topics such as suicide, sexual assault, child abuse, and apartheid. UNSUGARCOATED Media is a 501c3 non-profit media production enterprise, using podcasts, print publications, short documentaries, and more to tell stories of empowerment in the face of adversity and trauma.
