An appalled Macy rejects this offer. Jake comforts her. Felicia is stunned that Thorne is now accusing Jake of stealing the formula in order to drive a wedge between him and Macy. Sally consults with Darla for inspiration to help Clarke with his alleged impotence. Dressed in seductive clothes in the style of Madonna, Sally surprises Clarke at home. Clarke wants to avoid intimacy with his wife and is therefore relieved when Lt. Burke disturbs their evening. Sally throws the Lieutenant quickly out when he asks for help to convince Macy to accept a plea bargain. Macy meets with Thorne at the Taxi Bar who shares his theory with her that Jake must be the culprit because he was jealous and sought revenge. Macy is outraged by his words and leaves.
