Her days are largely spent scavenging through piles of garbage for tools or food, and clubbing snakes for sustenance. The seasons change making it more difficult for her to locate food. As the woman begins to starve, she becomes unable to produce milk to feed her son. In a downward spiral of desperation and ultimate hunger, the woman begins to cut small portions of flesh from her body to save the life of her son. Written by Anonymous See less
