Beth convinces Brooke to send Ridge a note to ask him back. Meanwhile, Ridge offers Grant a long-term contract at Forrester Creations in exchange for canceling his engagement with Brooke. Grant rejects this offer and stresses that Brooke will become his wife tomorrow. Later, Grant meets his future mother-in-law Beth for the first time. Sheila is rude to Maggie when the latter cooks an extremely healthy - but un-tasty - meal for her. Sheila then moves onto James and explains to him that a pregnant woman has trouble controlling her hormones.
