Suddenly, Grants gets an idea who could reverse this. Grant begs Eric to give him back his job - or at least allow him the spotlight of his first own runway show. Out of concern for Ridge, Eric does not consent to it. Brooke continues to plead with Ridge to believe her that she did not betray him with Grant. Ridge tells Brooke that he forgives her. However, Ridge expounds that their relationship has proven to be too exhausting for him. He still intends to marry Taylor. Brooke is crushed. Sally inquires with Stephanie for advice on how to deal with Clarke. Stephanie remarks that Sally still seems to have a soft spot for the man. Sally depicts the bond between father and son that has grown a lot this year; she therefore has qualms about cutting all ties with Clarke. Stephanie encourages Sally to wait on the final decision until Clarke recovers. C.J., who has been holding vigil with Clarke for days, panics when his father's bed is empty. Fortunately, he was merely out with Dr. Santana for an examination. Clarke's condition is improving and he is allowed to leave the hospital shortly.
