His plans are short-circuited when Major Robertson, Cadet Happy and Carol are captured by the being and imprisoned on the planet's surface. Corry goes to the fort where his friends are held to try to rescue them but gives orders for the Icarian squadron to resume their attack on the planet if he does not radio them within 15 minutes that he has achieved his objective.
