Meanwhile Christine explains to Paul that the fate of the custody case relies on an unbiased witness: they have to find Millie, Alice's mom! Paul thinks they might find her by squeezing Al Fenton, Alice's lover. Jill sees first signs that she and Billy are bonding. Birdie and Mac are at the shelter.
