Hua and Lily used to be as close as auntie and niece, Lily came to London as a child and lived with Hua's family and grew up as an actress. Hua gave up her career as a theater star in China for her marriage in UK. The film depicts a moment in which their lives after few years of unsettled silence are brought up again. Their emotional journey is challenged by bitter sweet memories from the past. Both women prove unable to reconcile because of the intense affair which happened between Lily and Hua's foreign husband.
