The film takes place in Vinnie's East Village apartment and neighborhood, at his film school, at Central Parks's Alice in Wonderland statue, at an East Side movie theater playing a Marx Brothers retrospective, on a NYC bus, at Vinnie's parents' house on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and in Riverside Park.
