Al Pagoda revisits the people and places orbiting the creation of his first solo album, Lucky Veil, premiered on that same year's October. A DEER FALLING INTO THE SEA portrays a generation doomed to deal with restlessness and isolation on a specially dark winter, where life as we used to know it got interrupted. A bittersweet love letter to the German capital, whose dark streets are another main character of the film. This hybrid between documentary and video album ranges between memories and a dreamlike portrayal of the present moment, from an apparent waking state.
