After crying on his shoulder and somewhat explaining her problems in the past, Tricia and Carter share a passionate kiss. Realizing her mistake, Tricia pulls away insisting that Carter had misread her feelings. The rejection makes Carter furious. Victor tells Nikki about Cassie's pending lab tests. They had over to Nick and Sharon where Cassie grows increasingly worried as the grown-ups continue to fuss about her. Brad and Ashley make plans for their life together. Mary gives Michael the riot act. She accuses him of influencing Christine's decision not to have a baby at this time. Phyllis' arrival puts an end to this argument. Phyllis is convinced that Michael is pining for Christine which he rebuffs. He accuses Phyllis of being jealous. Paul and Christine are still at odds with each other.
