Marsha Gordon has taught courses on War Documentaries, Sam Fuller/Nicholas Ray/Douglas Sirk, Educational Film, American War Films and many other subjects. Sam Fuller directed some of Hollywood's grittiest war films including The Steel Helmet, Merrills Marauders and The Big Red One. All of which drew heavily on his own experiences with the 16th Infantry Regiment in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy and Falkanau. He received Silver and Bronze stars and the Purple Heart and revisited the battlefields with a camera postwar.
