The entire world was shaken by a virus that seemingly appeared overnight. As the virus rapidly spread, humans across the globe started living a life in quarantine. This quarantine had many effects on human life. Homelessness, depression, and lack of resources caused by COVID-19 left many feeling fearful and defeated. However, there are clear signs that the lockdown did serve some good. The submitted work presents real-life testimonials from citizens of various countries. This project is unique because it gives a direct look into the impact that COVID-19 had and still have on everyday people. The work also explores the themes of unity, empathy, and hope. It was important to the production team to dedicate the film to those who have died or suffered due to COVID-19. It was crucial that the submitted work honored essential workers, as they have been the brightest stars during one of humanity's darkest moments.
